I have been doing a lot of thinking on this subject. I think this calls for a talk with the nova clinic and a few other places to get their take on why the majority of us on this forum are not seeing the results way quicker, as they state on their websites. If I get any information, I'll report back. |

This time I used Skinbiology's CP Serum afterwards. I don't sting as much as I used to post-roll, perhaps it's the needles becoming less sharp. Are CPs ok to use straight after a roll?

Yes, you should wait at least 30 minutes after rolling to apply. |

Hi, Septembergirl (This is your month! ). I've only been using the Viterol for a couple of weeks, but I will say my skin is looking firmer. We went to a party last night, and after I put on my makeup, I kept going to the mirror before we left to look at my smooth skin! I also have to give credit to OCM, which I started around the same time, and it's doing great things for my pores.
This is my very first OCM recipe:
1/2 c. organic Castor oil
1/4 c. organic Coconut oil
1/4 c. organic EVO
1 T emu oil
1 t. Rose Hip Oil
25 drops Rose Otto essential oil |

Here are my results, as previously posted on the Dermaroller thread. My current protocol is rolling every 3 months.

Rolling History:
I did a series of 6 rolls (1 per week) starting in mid-May with a 1.0mm Dr. Roller and 1.0mm 3Line Dr. Roller and then took a 90 day break. I now only roll once every 4-6 weeks, and will not be taking future breaks.
Topicals:
The only topicals I use when rolling are RA (face and arms only), and 302 A Boost and Lightening Drops on all areas for the next 3 days in order to replicate Dr. Fernandes' professional protocol (though he actually uses the Environ EssentiA Oil). I have used CPs, but don't think they are essential at all.
I was also using 302 topicals on a daily basis, along with RA 1x a week....including when I was on my 90 day rolling break.
Dermarolling Results:
After a total of 4 months, I saw:
- 90% of my crowsfeet eliminated
- 75% of my glabellas (11's) eliminated
- 30% of my forehead lines eliminated and the rest softened
- 97% of my milia eliminated
- 80% of a neck/collarbone line eliminated
- 80% of the pigmentation eliminated from my hands
I had a VISIA Complexion Analysis done on 9/18 that showed the following, and I will be using this as a baseline for future improvement.
- Fine lines and wrinkles - 99%
- Hyperpigmentation (age/dark spots) - 73%
- Enlarged pores - 97%
- Texture (skin smoothness) - 85%
- Sun damage (UV spots) - 105 counted in the designated area
I have been very fortunate to see results of this magnitude so quickly, especially since I roll way less than most people. And I am definitely expecting/hoping to see more improvement over the next 12 months.
However, though many people do not see these results unless they roll more frequently, and for a longer time period. However, 6 to 7 months seems to be the point where most people start seeing results. |

I find it interesting that you said you do the dermarolling "as aggressively as I can". I am unsure how to do the dermarolling, sometimes just rolling it over my skin lightly (still hurts) and sometimes pressing harder and I hear the little "pops". Its just so painful, but which way is correct? I have a lot of broken capilaries and I wasn't sure if dermarolling was exacerbating this. . . . . |
I highly recommend getting some numbing cream. It will help you tolerate the pain. I don't think you have to roll "as aggressively as I can"...but you do want to get some little blood spots. I rolled quite a few times getting the "pops" but hardly any bloodspots, until I started using numbing cream. Now I can press harder and I get a lot more blood spots
*Roll with intention, rather than aggression (good life advice too ) |

I agree with Panda. I believe people start having problems if they do any kind of skin damaging treatments to close together or too often.
Unfortunately some skincare people care more about booking a series of different treatments, then the health of their clients skin. Clients can also think if some is good, more must be better. I think some of the products that are available on the Internet are fairly strong and people don't spend the time to educate themselves about the best and safest way to use these products. |
