Has anybody tried SVR 50 Tinted Mineral-Only Sunscreen, 50 ml ? is it greasy or matte?
I have oily t-zone and looking for a physical ss with elegant texture that will not make me shine. I`m using LRP Fluid Extreme now and it is unbearable |

yeah I'm eyeing this too. I'm wondering if it's greasy or not too. Also, how the tint would be like. I assume it's gonna be too dark & orange for my fair skin as always |

Are you kidding me? I've been singing it's praises for at least a year - just do a board search.
This is a HG, 3-in-1 product for me. Beautiful dewy finish, not too shiny but I still set with powder b/c I have an oily T-zone. The tint is absolute perfection (I'm pretty fair) and blends smoothly. I luv this stuff!!
PS If you don't like dark and orange, do not try the Bioderma tinted s/s. |

I just found another site called beautyplatinum.com that has it for a few dollars less. I also like the Avene Fluide spf50+ ppd 20 for when I don't want or need the color. |

thanks a lot once again!
and it is written on Skincarecentral that Avene Fluide SPF50 can be used with mineral make up. The only concern I`d have is how stable it is? - physical ss are considered more stable than chemical ones, which can degrade on the prolonged sun exposure, and this Avene is a chemical ss... |

tsjmom, just wondering how fair you are? Is the tint more like a pink, yellow, or orange tone? Cuz I'm afraid it'll be too dark on me since that's always the case for me with tinted moisturizers I don't wanna order it to find out it's too dark or greasy and have to stuck with it.
Also, what kinda texture is it? Is it more like a lotion or thick cream? If I have to put 1/4 tsp on my face, would that be too heavy? Thanks tsjmom!! =) |

stardusty - you can order a sample from skincarecentral.biz. I'm very fair - not the absolute lightest but one step up from that. It's a cream consistency. As for color, I guess I'll say it's neutral. It's perfect for my Scottish, freckled, always burns complexion. I haven't had any suntan in the past 15 yrs. I'm actually proud of the fact that I have zero tan lines |

Thanks tsjmom. So it's a cream texture. I'm afraid it'll be as thick as Avene SPF 50 |

does anybode know where can SVR 50 Tinted be bought in Europe?
it would be absurd to import a product made in France from USA |

I also LOVE it, and had used it for years.
I have a very white skin with freckles and pink undertones. It worked beautifully for me.

hhm I still haven't order the sample to try yet as I'm on the fence whether I'll like it or not. The thick cream issue seems to turn me off. I have a feeling it's going to be thick & greasy? |

Think of it this way Stardustdy - it's a 3-in-1 product: s/s, foundation/concealer, moisturizer. I have oily, very clog prone skin. Don't know if this makes it worse but it's so lovely with a gorgeous finish it's worth it to me. BTW the finish is dewey matte - def not greasy. |

ok tsjmom, just cuz u said u have oily and very clog prone skin & STILL, u luv it so~ much...I'll take my chances & order a sample first. I'm sure I need to add MMU over it to prevent the shine and oil breakthrough later in the day.
BTW, do u notice u have more breakouts or clogged pores after using this ss? |

clogged pores can be whiteheads or blackheads but more like a pore that's inflammed with a small red bump but not really a full size pimple yet...hope that makes sense |

It has never caused me a problem as far as pimples go. When I'm referring to clogged pores, I mean pores that continually fill up w/ sebum. Unfortunately, I'm a squeezer, so every day I can get little white wormy things (sorry ) out of my T zone pores, nothing that's inflamed though.
I really believe it's worth it to at least try a sample. I do use finishing powder. |

RE: SVR 50
Unless you are EXTREMELY fair and uber oily, steer clear of this! It looks like a mask d/t the titanium I guess. It's also very thick and hard to spread. I used 1/4 tsp for my face, decollete and neck and ended up looking like a Kabuki. Powder just made it look cakey and horrid. Plus it's hard to remove. Not for me, but if anyone wants the tube I bought and used twice, please PM me! |
