| I use earthlink.net for my email and have for years. All of the sudden 2 of my addresses were been "hijacked(for lack of a better word) and used as return addresses, one for an e.d. product ad and one for loan ads. Then, a week later none of my passwords worked so I fixed that. Then yesterday, all of the sudden, I received 10 emails one right after the other saying that 10 new addresses had been added to my account. I called earthlink and they told me to change my passwords immediately and delete the new mailboxes which I did. I'm so frustrated. I've been using the same email addresses for years and I hate to change but really don't know what to do. I've run spyware programs regularly, virus programs, worm protection, etc. Any ideas??? I just hate to switch from earthlink if I don't have to but that may be my only recourse. Anyone else have problems like these? |
