How do you pronounce "tuileries", as in the Jardin de Tuileries? I've never known. TIA |

Kind of like "tweeel-ergh-hri". Try and do the "h" bits in the back of your throat - in a cross between gargling and clearing your throat way.
Hope that doesn't sound too weird! |

It doesn't sound weird Majorb! That's how I thought it was pronounced (I was a French minor in college but not anywhere close to being fluent). Thanks |

tjsmom, I took french in college too and STILL can't figure out how to pronounce some of this stuff either! While we're at it, does anyone know how to say "L'Occitane"?? |

I think it should be pronounced l'oc citane
So sort of like lock cee tan...with a french accent LOL. |
