I just got a text from a friend. She is in France. She left her birth control pills at home. Need to know what the regret pill or day after pill is called in french. A brand name would help.
Be quick please. She does not speak french at all. Her husband is totally freaking out on her.

Hi Liss - Norvelo is a brand of "morning-after-pill" that your friend might find in France.
France introduced this exact brand of "emergency contraceptive pill" into their high school system as a free birth control method around 8 years ago...I don't know how well the program did or if it still exists. I wish I could help you more with french translation, but I can't. The key translation that I would focus on, if I were in the same situation is, "I require emergency contraceptive pill - the morning after pill".
