Anyone have a recipe for DIY moisturizer for folks with sensitive and dry skin? I'm asking for a friend - my own skin tends to be oily so I'm not sure what to tell her. She also needs a rec for sunscreen that doesn't irritate her skin. She doesn't appear to have any problems with breakouts.

I like to use triple refined Emu Oil,but if youre interested in DIY have you done a Search on the EDS DIY thread ? I looked and one suggestion is to go to Garden of Wisdom site,also Skin Actives.I am sure there are more.

actually i have this formulation and it works very well with my face, though my skin is not so sensitive...
20ml jojoba oil
40ml sweet almond oil
20ml soy oil
50ml EVOO
50ml grapeseed oil
1.25ml lavander eo
1.25ml rosemary oil
0,75ml thyme oil
0,75ml tea tree oil
actually this recipe was inspired from some posting regarding hair growth on the DIY thread. i just mixed up the bottles and put this one on my face and i am sticking to it ever since  |
