That was so fun to watch and sad also. I really miss a lot of those innocent times. I would never have wanted to grow up in this day an age after living some of my happiest years in the 60's and 70's. |

Me too, and when it said after school we all watched American Bandstand, it made me angry all over again that kids these days come home to the perversion and utterly inappropriate crap known as Dr Phil... I cannot understand how the public puts up with that progam in the after school slot. (shakes head) |

I remember watching Gilligan's Island and Bewitched as a child. Nowadays just about every show on T.V. uses sex or something inappropriate to get the ratings. Dr. Phil and majority of the talk shows have such adult topics which deal with the most perverted issues in the society. We have made a choice not to have cable or a dish! My 2 small children only watch PBS! I feel so fortunate to have that channel! |

I still love the clothing from the sixties ... bell bottoms, the unisex trend, nehru jackets, miniskirts and paisley!!! |

Really good video! I love taking trips down memory lane...
It's sad to think things will never be that innocent again... |

Oh that was wonderful! I had a Sandy Koufax scrapbook, thought of him as a dreamy, intellectual ball player.
When I see it again I wish I was a bit older. I went to many Civil Rights marches with my parents but I was Just a bit to young to really understand.
They left out Jimi Hendrix playing the guitar. I saw him once as a preteen in NYC and his attachment literally to the guitar and the sound effects are beyond amazing.
Oh well, I think the sixties through early seventies were a special time. People had things to fight for and at least thought that they could make a difference. |
