Are you using something specific under your eyes that may be causing them? |

Shorty, I've had milia around my eyes for years and I fully understand how you feel. I blame mine on using heavy eye creams
Apparently if they are embedded (like mine) the only way to get rid of them is with laser, although they can come back again.
I've had good results with microdermabrasion and dermaroller. While it hasn't completely eradicated them, they are a lot smoother and less noticeable. I've just received the small 3-line dermaroller which is especially for those hard to get at areas of the face and I'm really optimistic that my results will be even better.

A derm can extract them for you, don't try to do it yourself. Having them extracted is really only way to get rid of the one's you have but you have be careful what you use in that area so they don't return. Some people do have success with retinols but it takes a long time. |

Shorty I have one large milia on my eye and I asked my derm about it. I was trying retin-a to help it dissolve, so to speak, he said all the retin would do was irritate it, which it had so he could not remove it that day. I have a follow up appt with him to have it removed.
I have removed one myself years ago, by accident actually, I would not recommend it as it did leave a scar. Any derm can remove them quickly. |
