Personally I didn't like it as a primer as it didn't hold onto my makeup very well. But the high SPF is ideal to have. I wear i when I don't wear makeup. I wouldn't use it to replace sunscreen - read going to the beach - but if I'm going outdoors and its sunny its a good alternative.

I would try the sofina sunscreens first. They have a SPF50 one that acts great as a primer as well. The mac one left my oily skin very greasy as the day progressed - much more so than the sofina one.

I would only recommend this product to more fair clients. (NW20/NC25 and under) The high amounts of Titanium Dioxide tends to lighten the skin a bit.

I've been using the Sofina and it's great - and I think it's transparent.... although I do have fair skin (and it gets more and more fair the longer I wear the Sofina!)
