I use Retin-A on my face every other day (I alternate with Duac) at night. I also use Bactrim DS. I have heard horror stories about skin coming off after getting hair waxed while using these. Is this just for facial waxings, where teh Retin-A is being applied, or anywhere. I was wanting to get my chest waxed, but I wanted to know how safe it was first. |

I am sure that you can safely wax parts of your body where you are not using Retin-A. |

Yes, you are safe to wax where you have not applied your retin A, but please take it from me, do not wax anywhere you are actually applying your Retin A. I took off skin on my entire lip once, not knowing. Learning the hard way, I came here afterwards and found out that it is a HUGE no no. |

I use retin-a and I get my eyebrows and upper lip waxed. I find if I lay off the retin-a in those areas for a day or two before my waxing appt., I'm fine. If not, yeeowww! |
