Hi all!
I am new here and need some advice. I am getting married in a month and would love to minimize some wrinkles under my eyes that appear only when I smile. I've used a variety of products that have greatly minimized my crows feet, but no luck on the undereye area.
Any suggestions? I did some searching on here and Relax-a-Line sounded promising, but then someone said it isn't for the undereye area.
I saw some mention of Vitamin C serums - would these help and if so which brand would you recommend? I also have dark undereye circles, if anyone has any suggestions for those too. Thank you!

I forgot to mention - I was also considering Freeze 24/7 but the reviews of it seem mixed. Any thoughts on that? Thank you! |

Welcome to the forum, orchid.
The only ingredient that is proven to erase fine lines, is retinoid. I use a thin layer of 0.025 % tretinoin gel under my eyes every other night. It's too early for me to tell how it works since I have only been using it for nearly three weeks, but the scientific proof is convincing.
During the day I use a regular vitamin C serum (Janson Beckett C & C for the moment) in the under eye area, and I believe it has a brightening effect.
Two other eye creams I know about that can be helpful in order to thicken the thin under eye skin, are 302 Skin Care eye serum and Relastin eye silk. |

Orchid - Septemebergirl's advice on the tretinoin is good, I plan to do this myself using cream instead of the gel. But it takes several months to get the results and often there is a time where the area looks worse before it improves. Also using Vit C serums and sunscreen will all make a difference over time.
Since your wedding is only a month away I think you will need to look for some kind of filler/primer. These types of products can be hit or miss though. I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions for that type of product. |

I haven't tried the Karin Herzog eye cream yet. I just bought it and just received it. However, I saw some other women posting great experiences with it, so that's why I wanted to try. You might want to read the long Karin Herzog thread in the Products Review section. |

I don't know how old you are, but a CoQ10 eyemask also help with relaxing those last minute wrinkles that are due to dryness (aka start the treatments a few days before your wedding). Many of my friends (late 20's, early 30's) use it when they first start to have fine lines and it helps a lot in preventing and minimizing them. Other eyemask that is really good are: Shiseido Benefiance Pure Retinol Instant Treatment Eye mask (for lifting and wrinkle removing) and AmorePacific Laneige StarWhite Eyemask (for brightening). Ask the sale girls how to use them because the way you position it under your eye can affect how it lift "the bags".
I do eyemask and use eyecream like there is no tomorrow to depuff, destress, and eliminate dark circles. Eyecream does take up to 4-6 weeks before you will see any slight improvements, so you won't see great improvement if you are press for time. I have seen some friends use the Freeze 24/7 product and it works for them.
Pressure point massages around the eye area also prove some little effects by relaxing and destress the area. Do it at night to speed up the efficacy of your eyecreams and treatments
I find vitamin C to be slightly drying but it works. I would pump up the eye cream to moisturize the area if you are going to try it. Also, vitamin C serum also have a tendency to clog pores with use. You might want to be careful with that. |

The Karen Herzog Vitamin H creme topped with the Karin Herzog Vita-A-Kombi oil has does wonders for plumping up the fine lines under my eyes. |

May I ask what products you used that have minimized your crows feet? |

You may try Loreal's collagen filler, it worked for me. It can't erase wrinkles but it fill the wrinkles up when you put it on before makeup and the wrinkles look less obvious. It's a short term solution and not expensive. |

RoC Retin-Ox Correction for eyes worked for me in the past (on the fine lines under and around eyes). I am not using it at the moment though, because i'm trying to get more into natural/organic skincare. But at the time i quite liked the effects. |

Hi Orchid,
I started using Modele Anti Wrinkle Eye Gel about six weeks ago and my crowsfeet are almost gone. I use it morning and night. This is the first treatment that has helped me. |
