hello girls, tried to roll my ass to get rid of my stretch marks, and also my hands. i used my 1.5 roller.then i got overzealous with the post roll products and the next day my ass and hands have a horrible itchy rash that exacerbates when i scratch. however i did the same thing with my face but my face is completely fine..

just wanna know if anybody has this experience, and if i should stop rolling on these areas!

I believe that most of the Dermaroller-users (including myself) get red, itching and flaking skin the following days after rolling. If it's extremely bad, you could try to roll less aggressively the next time.

You should under no circumstances roll again before the skin is completely healed. Smile

I had a huge red itchy rash on my chest after rolling with the 1.5mm for the second time. No problems the first time. Question But that's the only place. My face, neck, arms, legs and butt no problems at all. It's been a few weeks since I rolled my chest and I'm going to leave it another couple of weeks before I go again, probably very gently too.

This sounds like a typical histamine reaction. I get the same thing if I use Retin A after I roll my chest, and the rash and itch is unbearable. Yet my face is completely fine. Rolling Eyes I do get a little itching after normal rolls, but nothing like when I get the rash and itching combined.

If you still have the rash and itch, the best way to get rid of them is with hydrocortisone...that is the only thing that worked for me. However, HC is NOT good for collagen production, so it is not something that you want to use every time you roll.

As far as your future rolls, you definitely want to wait until your skin is COMPLETELY healed in those areas before even thinking about another roll. Then, you might want to consider applying those products 24-48 hours after your roll.

HTH!
