I tried this twice. The first time I used it, I felt a slight tingling but it was not very noticeable. 2nd time I used it, the same sensation. I don't seem to see the hype about this product. I left it on in the shower for 15mins and after washing it off, no difference in my skin 
So I just want to know what kinda results did u ladies achieve after using this mask? Is it just me or what?
Also, I followed another forum member's suggestion and put this into the fridge after use to keep it fresh. |

I agree - I have used this quite a few times over the past couple of months and it doesn't do much for me. IMO Pevonia's enzymo spheride peeling cream is much nicer and my skin feels softer, looks clearer.
I don't see the hype with PSF myself and have used 5 of their products now with only average results. |

I love PSF products,but felt the peel was a bit wimpy too.
Then I tried NCN's Pumpkin Peel and woohoo! that's a peel. !!!

| I guess it depends on how sensitive your skin is. I've tried 3 Pumpkin Peels and PSF works for me the best. The first one was Instiut Dermed (100.00) and it really did nothing. Couldn't feel it working and skin looked no different. The second was PSF which left a slight tingle but not unbearable, skin looked clearer and felt softer afterwards. The third was Juliet's Room Organics which was slightly cheaper than PSF but I thought it was literally going to melt my face off it burned so bad. It was all I could do to keep it on for the allotted 5 minutes. My face was red for HOURS afterwards. PSF gets my vote (for me anyway). Everybody's skin reacts differently to different products so the key is finding something that works for YOU |

I keep coming back to PSF pumpkin peel because I really don't WANT the heavy duty strength available from NCN. Just more confirmation that what works for one won't work for another....  |

If you don't get much result from PSF, you probably want to bump up to NCN's which is 30% (PSF I think is 8%) - you can buy a sample size to try first:

I too am a big fan of PSF's pumpkin peel. It's the only fruit enzyme peel I've found that works for me. It really does help lighten my age/sun spots.
I will say that I've had mold growing on mine before  , so I keep it in the fridge now. |

I’m in the process of comparing the PSF and Juice Beauty peels at home. This is the first time I’ve heard about storing the PSF peel in the fridge. Does anyone need to keep the JB peel refrigerated as well?
Lunarmm, where did you hear the PSF peel is 8%? Do you know how much the JB (full strength) one is? |

PSF is 8% glycolic. I don't remember where I got the info. You can always contact PSF and ask.
I don't have experience with any of the JB peels.... |

The pumpkin peel was very uncomfortable. Even Kate in a jar was too strong for me. The only one I enjoy is the Juice Beauty but im not really sure it make a difference on my skin...  |

Please see a good aesthetician in your area that can give you some general feedback on your skin type and skin needs. You say you have sensitive skin. Chemical peels are not for everyone. Some people do better with manual forms of exfoliation.
A good aesthetician should ask you what you are using and give you advice whether it is the best for your skin and make suggestions about types of skin care products, etc. (not just push one particular line or product). Just an INVESTMENT in one professional visit with a GOOD aesthetician who is not a pushy salesperson but a skin care professional will save you a lot of potential damage to your skin and pocketbook!

Please see a good aesthetician in your area that can give you some general feedback on your skin type and skin needs. You say you have sensitive skin. Chemical peels are not for everyone. Some people do better with manual forms of exfoliation.

Thanks so much!!! But the problem is....it's more difficult to find a good aesthetician here than a good product. Mostly hardselling and not that well-educated!

I suggest you start a new thread asking for recommendation of a good aesthetician, salon, spa, etc. in Hong Kong. This EDS Forum has an international membership and you may get some responses.
I also continue to highly recommend the Clarisonic as I think it will help improve your skin. Find a gentle cleanser to use with it.
Right now I'd stay away from the chemical / enzyme peels... |

Thanks so much!!! I will do more research on Clarisonic . I am interested to but just that it's unsafe to buy before bought! So need to think longer!!

I think the Clarisonic is a pretty safe buy - much more so than a chemical peel if you have sensitive skin  Feel free to keep researching. You will find many posts on the Clarisonic here on EDS and also on other sites likewww.MakeupAlley.com andwww.epinions.com or try putting Clarisonic + reviews in Google and see what comes up...
My tips: just make sure you buy from an authorized dealer like EDS and then you will have a money-back guarantee. Try to get the international charger or buy the proper voltage converter for Hong Kong if you get a North American Clarisonic and make sure to fully charge (til you see a green light on the brush) before using for the 1st time. Enjoy!

Hi evenet,
I too have sensitive skin. What I found was helpful was to focus on one product at a time, decide if it was helpful or harmful, and once I'd made sure that that product was fine for me, then gone on to selecting another kind of product.
For example, start by getting a cleansing routine. The Clarisonic works for most people who try it, though not for everyone. Find out which cleanser works best for you, depending on your skin type, makeup and sunscreen usage, etc.
Then move on to the next product type, test that thoroughly, and don't move on to trying something new till you are sure that what you are using is right for you. It takes more time that way, but at least you will know what is working and what is not. In the long run, you will save a lot of money! |

| Okay so I've used it a couple more times since the last post I did and I've noticed that almost as soon as I put it on my face there is a slight sensation and then it full out burns my face. I think it might have something to do with the fact that I use the Clarisonic before hand but I don't know. Anyone with similar reactions? Its so weird that I went from not feeling much to full out burn... |
