I am over 30 and have been having trouble with pimples and marks or scarring on my face for nearly 10 years. I have tried a lot of different products to get claerity. I was wondering if any one nows about the product Dermalogica? |

Welcome dot T,
I highly recommend the Dermalogica medicated clearing gel if you are not sensitive to salicylic acid, a BHA. It's a terrific product. I also like Dermalogica Dermal clay cleanser (but don't put it over your eyes as it is really minty), and the Dermalogica Microfoliant as an exfoliant is lovely. |

I agree with Thoughtcrime and would recommend both the medicated clearing gel and also the Microfoliant. Dermal Clay Cleanser would also be a good choice of cleanser for acne prone skin. I would also recommend that you look into getting a vitamin C serum as well to help heal the skin. Another thing you could look into is organic Rosehip Oil, it's supposed to help heal skin as well. |

To thoughtcrime and mabsy, thank you both so very much. I have looked at the Dermalogic line and was wondering if the products would help. My skin was not an issuse during my teen years and early twenties. I have adopted the habit of touching an picking my outbreaks which has worsen the problem. I will try your sugesstions. Thanks again and I'll keep the site updated on my progress. |
