Hi, I stumbled across this site last night after looking up info on dermarollers. I found the 76 something page thread and was up until 2 am last night reading it. Now my eyes burn and I am totally confused. Shock Laughing

My acne (chin / jawline) is pretty much under control but I am left with god awful red marks.

My main concern are the two boxed scars (or are they rolling scars?) that I have on my chin. They run vertical and look like II. I can not tell you how embarrassed I am of them and how much it affects me. Before I had my daughter, and when I only had one of them, I had collagen injected into it and it made a huge difference. I am willing to do that again if I need to but thought that the dermaroller might be a better idea.

So I am wondering if someone could please tell me what I need and give me an outline of what to do.

I currently wash my face with Dove Sensitive skin, use Tea Tree Oil as a toner, and then EL moisturizer in the am and EL Advanced Night Repair in the pm. I like this routine and would like to stick with it if possible.

From what I have read it looks like I should go with either a 1.0 or a 1.5 for the acne scars. At this point I only want to roll my chin area so should I go with the smaller roller?

I have a zillion more questions but this has gotten pretty long. Embarassed

Any help you all could give me would be greatly appreciated!

You should definitely get the 1.5mm since you will be breaking up scar tissue.

You might also want to pop over to the 302 thread under the Product Reviews forum and look at Boski's posts...she used both 302 and the dermaroller to get rid of her acne scars. (scroll down to the 2nd set of pics...the first set is just little red x's).
