Hey all,

I just registered here but I've been trolling the threads for a few days now.

I have dark circles under my eyes, and I've had them ever since I was 12. I was a chubby kid before then and can only remember noticing them when I was 12 or 13 (I'm 18 now).

I started using Lumineyes by Mary Kay, it seemed to help somewhat. Since I've started college and have been taking caffiene, ephedrine, and aspirin every day to help me do well, and now the circles are more prominent than they ever were.

I'm pretty sure my problem lies in the visible blood vessel/hereditary area... I get 8-9 hours of sleep a night and don't have any allergies. My diet is as balanced as can be.

I cannot stress how much I've read about remedies for this problem. I'm pretty fed up with it and I don't want to be trying every supplement on the market until I find one that works.

Could anyone who is/was in a similar situation as me recommend a good product?

I'd also like to try to buy a cucumber juice supplement, I know it's temporary, but how long does the effect of this treatment usually last during the day?

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks

When you need to just cover up the black/blue ...blue blocker by silkskin.com is excellent! Sometimes I still put concealer over it, sometimes not. Good Luck.

I like the Eye Bright as well. I also like the YSL Touche Eclat for covering circles that are simply incorrigible! Smile I think if you do not have allergies, then the EB should work very well since it has a few ingredients that are there to actually brighten, not just improve your circulation. I also think that Teamine is a nice eye cream that can help somewhat and Peter Thomas Roth K Eye Rescue has worked on my circles before. But it is very pricey. The EB is $21 so I'm sticking with it for an everyday product.

Beleive me I know the woes of eye problems!!! My problem has always been those ugly bags!!! In my case it is a family trait and I am at the point that I don't think there is much that can be done (except surg.). Before I replied to this post I ran across this site. Don't worry girls I did not buy anything. I did email asking questions.

Thanks for all the replies. I think I'm going to try out the EB at CellRX since it improves both circulation and color. I'm not trying to go for a concealer so I think it's a surefire choice.

By the way, has anyone ever heard of Aspirin being used to improve circulation & dissipate the darkness under the eye?

Well, PTR Power K worked well for me but if you're talking more about prominent blood vessels rather than overall dark cirlces then I'm not sure. It does have vit K in it which is used post-op to reduce bruising etc and is found in many spider vein treatments.

The limited knowledge that I have on aspirin is that is helps thin out the blood.
