I previously posted about cleansers and thought I needed a glycolic one but now I'm not so sure. My skin is really changing ALOT! I do breakout but I also seem to have skin on the dryer side. I am finding my skin VERY tight after cleansing. I was interested in trying Jan Marini's Bioglycolic or Dermalogica Special Cleanser..... Any one have any feedback or other suggestions. I don't really know where to start!! I am currently using Obagi CRX to eliminate spots. I would like a cleanser that I can use now and once I've completed the CRX system. Thanks! Oh, I should also mention that I don't really like cleansing milks....don't feel very clean after!

I used to get that tight feeling after cleansing too. Have you tried the cleanser from Obagi? I noticed my face wasn't as tight using that one. I'm using Shiseido The skincare cleansing foam now and it's not that dry either. I just ordered PSF's gentle cleansing castile and reviews here say it wasn't drying...

As for the anti-aging part though, I doubt any cleanser will have an affect for anti-aging. It might have anti-aging ingredients, but since you're washing it off and it's not staying on your face I don't see how any anti-aging ingredients could work!

I recommend ZO Skin Health's new hydrating cleanser, it suds-up nicely and does not leave the skin with a dry or tight feeling.

I use a 50/50 mixture of olive and castor oil to cleanse my skin. It must be washed off thoroughly with lots of water (best done in the shower) but it leaves the skin very soft and moisturised. Since I've been using this, breakouts are a thing of the past, my skin is never dry and my pores are looking much better.

I have found Karin Herzog professional cleansing gel to be the very best for my combination skin. Skin feels great after words-even if I wait several minutes before putting anything else on. It is very effective at removing my MMU. It's use is a little different- a thick gel that you rub between your fingers to warm up, then massage over the face and neck. I then use a microfiber cloth soaked in very warm water and place over my face, then wipe off all traces of cleanser and splash with cold water- this little ritual feels so good i actually look forward to washing my face...

I do use a Clarisonic skin brush most of the time. So far my favorites (I have very dry skin) are Diana Yvonne rosehip cleanser (you can buy a sample size to try) and Leaf & Rusher green tea cleanser. I love both of them - and they don't dry out my skin!
