My eyelids are a little bit crepey so I thought cream eyeshadows would be more moisturizing. Then I read that creams are a no no for wrinkly eyelids because they're drying. I figured the powders would be worse.
What have you heard? |

I dont think it matters if its cream or powder as formula's can vary so much. What I think makes the difference is not wearing shadows with shimmer in them. I think a satin or semi-matte finish is best for these lids. |

I agree that shimmery powders can accentuate wrinkles or crepy skin. Less is more, so using less eyeshadow will not accentuate wrinkles. |

Thank you both! As long as neither one is drying, I'm fine with either. |

Creams are easy to apply, sheer out, and blend, but the downside is that they have a tendency to crease easily. I find that primer is a must when using cream shadows. |

I prefer powder eyeshadow. I find the cream ones tend to accumulate into the crease of my eye and I end up with a thick line of shadow in the middle of my eye. Never thought of trying a primer first. |
