Mishey, did you ever try the Vitamin K cream? Curious if it is working or not.

Just an update for you. The phleb also said too many small veins to zap. Would take too long and could scar.

Do you mean zapping with IPL? I used to have broken caps all over my face, it looked like a road map. But I had one intense treatment of IPL and they all disappeared. Over the years some have crept back so I've had more treatments. The ones around the nose are notoriously difficult to get rid of. However, overall, I think IPL is a very successful treatment for broken caps so I can't understand why they won't do your chest area. I also have broken caps all over my neck and chest and was told that it would be no problem to treat them - I've just never got around to it.

If I were you I'd get another opinion on having IPL. However, I'll be very interested to hear how you go with the Vitamin K.

Riley I had some major car troubles and have been so "very very good" and not purchased any beauty products for weeks. BUT I'm now free to spend again and have the vitamin K in the post as we speak. Along with new dermarollers and emla and Agless etc etc...

I'll keep you informed of how it works for sure.

Keliu they were talking about zapping with diathermy. They suggested IPL but I've already spent heaps on that before and it worked great for my pigment but zip for my chest veins.

Mishey, where did you get the Vit K? I am thinking about it, as my face is full of broken caps, but I am still undecided!

Mishey, any updates on the Vit K cream? I am thinking of just going to a derm to have something done for these broken caps, but thought I would check in with you first!

Riley I only got the vitamin K cream on the 19th Dec, so have only been using it for not quite 3 weeks so far. I need to keep it up for 3 months before I can make any judgements.
Sorry I'm no help as yet.

Thanks, Mishey. Does it seem to be doing anything at all yet? Meaning, any redness diminishing, etc?

Unfortunately nothing to report as yet. Sad
But I'm going to keep using and hoping.
Do you think you'll go to your derm sometime soon? If you do get any treatments please keep me posted as to what you got and how it goes.

I'll keep you posted Mishey. I think I will make an appointment with an office soon. I did ask what they use for the broken caps and I beleive it was the Candela Vbeam? I want to do some price shopping. The place I called quoted $600 for the entire face and I am not sure that is a good deal or not, as I have never had anything like this done.
