To clarify the title, I'm wondering what those of you out there think of my little plan. I have recently moved from Kate Somerville moisturisers to Ole Henriksen. KS uses a pump for her moisturiser, Ole has a screw top. You may see where I'm going with this... Can I transfer my sheer transformation creme to the empty (and cleaned) Kate Somerville jar complete with pump top. The consistency seems to be similar and that way I'm not contaminating the product.
Thoughts?
Obviously I am concerned about losing product because of my mad idea here. But if it works... |

You can use a syringe to minimize losses during transfer. |

These are lotions in bottles, right? It's virtually impossible to use up 100% of any bottled lotion. Those last few drops just won't come out unless you add water, which renders it pretty ineffective. (Not that I haven't done that with an expensive face lotion, then rubbed it on my arms or legs.)
But except for losing the last few drops twice instead of once, why not? I've cleaned and sterilized bottles I liked, and re-used them for my DIY lotions and serums. |

Both containers are tubs, no squeeze bottles. |

Sounds like no worries to me. |
