Do you wash off your makeup as soon as you get home from work (or the last public appearance of your day), right before you go to bed, or somewhere in between. I wash it off right before bed. Would love to do it sooner, but I always procrastinate. |

I wash it off before bed too even though I know it's better to wash it off right when you get home. But I never know, maybe I'll have to go out later, then I'll have to do my whole skincare routine prior to makeup again. Same as if I do take it off right when I get home I'll do my skincare stuff, then I'll have to wash my face again prior to bed. It's just too much work and I'm too lazy, not to mention how much product I'll have to use meaning more money restocking. |

It all depends on my mood. Sometimes I wash my makeup off as soon as I get home and other nights, like tonight for example, I wait until before I go to bed. |

Usually before bed, but I keep meaning to do it earlier in the evening. I procrastinate. |

I use to wash my makeup off just before I go to bed but my Godmother, who works at a dermatologist office (and has beautiful skin), told me it's best to wash off the makeup as soon as I get home. This will give my skin a chance to 'breath' and help prevent clogged pores. |

I wash it off before bed, which is usually pretty late. I should probably take it off before then, but I have an unpredictable schedule and am never sure if someone will call me up to do something after I'm done with classes. Plus, my skin is looking pretty awful these days and I do not feel very good about walking around with a "naked" face. |

Hi Nijey,
I use to feel the exact same way! I had a fear of people seeing me without my makeup on. Then I went on vacation and had an allergic reaction to something. It caused my skin to break out and the more stuff I put on to hide it the worst it got. I had to go 'naked' without any makeup for a month. The strange part was, my skin started to heal and clear up. |

I usually wash my face right before bed. However, sometimes on the weekends I might do it earlier in the evening, because I usually end up staying up very late and know I'll be way too tired to do it later! In the summer when I come home and it's really hot, I'll sometimes do a quick swipe of toner to take off some of the makeup and then do the full wash before bed. |

I usually try to wash my face early in the evening -- around 7. I like to do it early so that I have time for a mask (or two) if I feel like it. |

I like to have my bath right when i get home and i wash my face then, so yeah i wash my face early in the evening. I spend a lot of time in bed in the evening (reading, surfing the web, watching tv, etc) and i hate staining my sheets with makeup. |

I wash mine right before getting into bed. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that I will be off to sleep anytime soon, or that I will get to stay in for the rest of the day. Usually, I get around to it at about 11-11:45 pm . But then, I'm up until 1-2am just tying up loose ends on the computer while I'm in bed....wow, I need to do things earlier... |

I usually wash my face (I do not wear makeup) as soon as I get home from work. I'll put on some mask and leave it on until I wash my face again in shower. |

As a rule I tend to wash my make up off about an hour before going to bed. At the moment I am using various treatments / skin preperations (CP's / Acids / biological oils ...oh and not to forget JMAIE) so this basically allows enough time for each product to settle / absorb before heading off to the land of sleep. One of the products that I apply is Exfol serum which requires a 30 min wait before other products can be applied on top |

I think it's best to wash it off as soon as possible and then apply your skin care routine. I never do, I leave mine til just before bed as I can't be bothered and then all my skin care products end up on my pillow! |

I do it before bed. I know that is not a good thing to do, so I will try to change this and do it as soon as I'll get home. |

If I get home and know I won't be going out again I like to wash it right off my face. Don't like it to stay on if it doesn't need to be. |

I usually do it once I'm in for the nite. I like to get my skincare routine out of the way as early as possible and give everything a chance to absorb before going to bed. |
