I have tried products claiming to SPFs for oily skin but skin ends up a greasy oil slick after two hours. I can only trust the ladies of EDS. Thanks.
p.s. If its for sensitive skin that would be a bonus too. |

I think Shiseido lotion Spf55 is the best. It even controls oil. |

one of my favorite subjects. I am 55 and have very oily skin. Have gone through every line and I am back to what I started out with at l5 years of age. I use Clinique Superdefense oil free moisturizer with SPF 25. Keeps my oils down.
During the day I use oil free vitamin C
the clinique as mentioned above.
oil free Laura Mercier primer
oil free and oil absorbing prescriptives custom blend foundation
Laura Mercier translucent powder.
It all works beautifully keeping my oils down.
Good luck. |

I have oily skin and I'm not one of those people who find their nose shiny after 8 hours into their day. I am very greasy and I found the Shiseido Extra Smooth Sunscreen in SPF 36 to be good at matifying but clogged my pores.
The Sofina was not as good as matifying but it didn't make me more greasy - maybe matifying for combination skins. I would still give it try because so many people like it but if you're like me - don't expect it to be all-day no blotting needed.
Also the above mentioned sunscreens are heavy on the silicones like many, so if your skin doesn't like silicones, you may want to avoid them. They also have alcohol.
So far I don't have a HG sunscreen but I have just started trying a new one (it's a make-up primer) and it's too early to tell.
Hope that helps! |
