Hi! I have recently discovered my love for all things lavender. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a good lavender products. I am particularly interested in essential oils and bodycare, but am interested in bath and face care as well. Thanks! |

I know of an Australian company called Janesce that sells Lavender skin care products - that range is for normal skin. They should be on the web.
Have you also looked at the Jurlique range - they have some very nice products too. I just love their lavender hand cream. |

I'll have to look into Janesce. I've tried Jurlique's rose handcream and loved the smell. I'd probably like their lavender handcream as well. Right now I am hooked on L'Occitane's lavender handcream. |

I wanted to suggest Jurlique's handcream and L'Occitain cream. Also Weleda has some lavender products. |

I'm actually very curious about Weleda. I've heard good things about this brand and would like to use more natural ingredients in my skincare routine. As for L'Occitane handcreams, they're the best I've come across. My hands get super dry in the winter. I have scars from severe cracked hands. L'Occitane products have not only stopped my hands from cracking, but have also minimalized the appearance of some of the scars. Thanks for the recs by the way! |

I have heard that lavender can be irritating. I guess it depends on the product though. Has anyone had problems with irritation and lavender use? |

It smells like real lavender and works beautifully. I just wish it cost less, so that I could buy it more often |

I agree lavender is nice but it can knock your socks off if the scent is too strong. I don't know how fragrant you want to go but this site has lots of lavender based products in skin care. They arewww.aromacrystal.com. The stuff is great. Canadian too, so you'll get it at a good price. |

Bare Escentuals Lavender Body Balm smells strongly of lavender and is nicely moisturizing.
For a super luxurious lavender treat, try Dermalogica Exfoliating Body Scrub. This stuff smells (and feels) amazing! |

The Avalon Organics line seems very nice and easy to find. The shampoo (with beta glucan) and conditioner leave my hair clean and shiny. Love lavender ,its so calming. |

Why not get a lavender essential oil and add to other unscented creams/oils etc. to make your own customized product?
Lush has a nice new cream - Vanishing cream, that is lovely and easily absorbed, and has lavender in it, which you can smell.
Also, as said above - Jurlique Lavender Silk Dust. |

I'm definetly going to purchase a good essential lavender oil! I could find so many uses for it. Thanks cora-lu. L'occitane's essential oil smells divine, but it's a bit pricy. I'm hoping one of my family members will give me a gift card for l'occitane |
