I've heard a lot of complaints about this lotion, but I for one simply can't live without it! It's very light, so it's perfect if your skin feels too tight without a moisturizer, but feels too greasy with a full-strength moisturizer. If I mean business about keeping a matte face all day, then after I wash and tone I apply a layer of the Matt Fluid, then DHC's Velvet Skin Coat Primer, and THEN Jurlique's Rost Dust. It definitely helps battle the oilies. Plus, the Matt Fluid has this gorgeous water lily scent that I just adore! |

I've never suffered from oilies, but I've used the Matte Fluide anyways. The first decleor moisturizer I had. As Liz says, it has a very light texture and smells nice... |

I third that. The lotion smell great and its light. I love using it. I use it over the ylang ylang oil, but I also think its great alone. No, it dosen't always keep my oilies at bay alll day, it depends on how hot, but 90 percent of the time its awesome. |

Oh yeh, I also love it over the Ylang Ylang Oil or PSF's Balancing Oil. Great combo! |

I hated this mosituriser. It sits on my skin like a layer of silicone and I swear it rubs off when i apply my make up. Bad stuff. |

Not bad stuff for me. I really liked it when I was using it. It was a light, pleasant smelling moisturizer, that in the humid summer heat, helped keep my skin more matte. |

I have been using this moisturizer for the past year and I love it! After cleansing, I apply a small amount of Ylang Ylang oil, then apply a small amount of the moisturizer. You don't have to use large amounts of any Decleor product. It's a great base for makeup. |

I agree with those who like this product. In my younger days with oilier skin, this was my favorite moisturizer. It goes on very smooth, smells great, and one tube lasts a long time. |

I used this for quite awhile about two years ago...actually it was part of my very first EDS purchase!
I used it in tandem with the YY oil as well. The combination did help keep oilies at bay a little bit, but after using the YY oil, I omitted this and didn't see a huge difference...meaning that most of my oil production was being kept to a minimal because of the YY oil and not the matte skin fluid.
At one point I was putting on way too many products so this was one of the first to go into the drawer.
Granted, if you need some extra moisture and are oily, this is a great alternative to a regular lotion or cream moisturizer, especially during the summer. But if you need more moisture, I don't recommend it. |

Great moisturizer. It's very light and only a small amount is needed. Make up goes on even. |

This is a great moisturiser for the summer. It might not be rich enough for the cold winter weather. |

SO IS IT WORTH TO TRY? |

as for me, i would apply the dydrating serum of cosmo decorte, then a thin layer of this kind of matte fluid.it can help me stay matte for almost a whole day. |

I share the same point with you.we cannot just rely on a matte fluide to stay matte all day. |

Can this be used to cover pores? Decleor discontinued the SOS pore minimizer I used. I wonder if Decleor has something else for pores that works just as well. |
