I had used manual microdermabrasion with corundum crystals for years. Lately I've been doing research on the effects of rubbing so hard, that you can actually do damage.
I have spider vein things and saggy skin that I never had before.
What is a more gentle way to exfoliate without putting any pressure on the skin? |

I am sure the elasticity will go back to normal. Sagging is caused by collagen and elastin depletion over time. So although your skin might be irrirated or looks worse temporarily, I dont think the elasticity could go that quickly.
The spider veins do make sense, since microderm can cause them, it is a well known fact. That is why people with rosacea are usually told that microderm is not the best option for them. Honestly, a laser for the veins might be your best option. Zap zap and they are gone, been there done that, did not cost too much either. |

Recently I had a reaction that had caused lots of clogged pores so I am using a manal scrub once a day to try and clear it up, but normally I rarely use a manual scrub. I have good results with PSF Pumpkin Peel 1-2 times a week and the rest of the week I normally just cleanse my face using the PSF microfibre cloths. |

Yes I recommend Ruby Laser to get rid of the spider veins. It works amazingly well |

When the irritation clears up some of the spider veins will likely go away too.
I've found aspirin mask to be a gentle yet effective for exfoliation. You can also use chemical exfoliants like AHA. |

so people with rosacea should not use a manual scrub or at-home microdermabrasion??
only chemical peels and microfibre cloths? |
