Can anyone recommend a brand, or maybe a strategy, like using a HA serum under an eye cream?
At the moment, I just use vaseline which seems to keep it from drying out, but its not enough.. |

hi mowgli, I'm probably going a bit overboard at the moment, but I'm using IS Clinical Youth Serum, Babor HSR Lifting Eye Cream and Clarins Eye Revive Beauty Flash. This combo - particularly the IS Clinical Youth Serum - seems to be doing a great job of plumping and firming the eye area for me. |

Really? I guess that's one more for me to try! When you say "plump up" do you mean reduce wrinkles? |

i am thinking plump up means to get rid of the sunken eye look? so get rid of dark circles? |

hi antonia, yes, it's meant to reduce wrinkles. I think the IS Clinical Youth Serum has a lot of hyalauronic acid in it, which sucks in moisture, so it makes the skin plumper for the day and smooths out crepiness. It only really has that effect for me on the really fine skin around the eyes, though. Their brochures show pretty dramatic before and after pictures, with claims of instant improvement (which I did find in the eye area) and long term improvement, but I checked the forums and some other EDSers have had a more disappointing experience. It's expensive, so if you can get a sample, it's a good way of testing if you get the 'instant' plumping, wrinkle-removing effect. |

Hmmm...that's interesting indeed. Thank you. I have HA here and use it before my Baby Quasar-ing. I'll go check this IS stuff out. I think I've bought five eye products this week Oh, just checked it out...do you mean Clinical Youth Complex? I don't see a "serum" with that exact name... |

Antonia, oops, sorry! Yes, it's the Youth Complex. Just ran to the bathroom to grab my bottle of it. Funny - now I look at the label it says not to apply it to the immediate eye area, but that's the area that had the most effect with me. Sometimes it pays not to to read the label too closely! And I hear you on the eye products - do let us know if you find anything amazing. |

Thanks again. I put it in my EDS cart for the big Wednesday buy! I also analysed the contents of various elastin-promoting products and bought a small size of one. Soon, I'll be sleeping under the local bridge, I tell you... Oh yes, and I would think "the immediate eye area" would mean above your eye lashes |

i will have a look for this youth complex eye cream, thanks! if i could plump out that eye area it would make such a huge difference to my face! |
