| Feel free to add your thoughts. I've gotten makeup as gifts from friends, and felt sort of weird about it. Well, some I felt weird, others (closer friends) I felt less weird. Thoughts? |

Sidda, were these items that they knew you were interested in or that you requested? or items they loved and were anxious for you to try? |

Unless someone knows my tastes very well, I wouldn't want cosmetics as a gift. I'm extremely particular and know what works best for me.
My sister and I trade products with each other like no tomorrow though ...we are both terrible product junkies. |

I can tell you exactly.
One was a MAC Fluidline that she knew I wanted but couldn't afford. Great gift. Very appreciated.
One was a lip pencil -- the hue I always wore, from a business associate who had once asked me what color I wore. ????
One was a green-hued primer, from a friend who LOVED it -- because she has rosacea. I do not. So I had this green stuff. . . WTH? I understand the intent, but, again... WTH?
I've never gotten skin care. But a gift certificate to, for example, EDS seems pretty obvious. If anyone had half a brain. LOL |

| If those closest to me who realize how often I refer to EDS actually focussed their "what to get her" antennae... an EDS GC would be a very good idea. |
