I'll preface this by saying I really wanted to like this moisturizer after everybody raved about Skinceuticals. But this product is just not for me. First off, it comes in a jar with a screw on lid which I don't like because I feel that the moisturizer gets too much exposure from the environment. When I put it on, it has an unpleasant tingly sensation that actually feels more like burning than tingling. It made my cheeks red from irritation, and at first made me break out a little. It claims it has ingredients to reduce pores size (a big claim on their part). I noticed none of that. The moisturizer itself is very light, which I normally like in a moisturizer but this was too light that I found my face felt dry afterward as evidenced by my skin flaking and peeling. I want to run, not walk, away from this product. |

Gee thoughtcrime, I'm sorry to read your review. It is a huge disappointment when you expect great results (we all work really hard for our products) and walk (or as you say run) away instead. I have used Skinceuticals but it was the "Intensive line defensive", Gel B5 and the "Primacy" part of the line, C+E. I purchased those items based on reviews from the forum and magazine articles. Each has made a really made a big difference in my results. Did you buy a full size or sample it first? I know sometimes samples are not available. What are you going to use for your moisturizer now?

Thanks Babs for your concern
Unfortunately, I ordered the full size product and didn't request a sample first. Next time I'll definitely ask for samples first. I'm sure the daily moisture is a good product for some people, but for my sensitive combo skin that's extra finicky, it's not for me. I ordered an old favorite (I have a few) Decleor Harmony Essential, that I'll post a review of in the near future. That moisturizer is awesome and healing. In the meantime, I'll use the Yonka samples I just got. |

Looking forward to your review thoughtcrime. That cream has been mentioned a few times as a nice soothing treatment. Caspers mum said something about using it after waxing to soothe the skin. Me thinks I'll be asking for a sample of it with my next order I should really make a list, I always forget the samples I want to try when I place my order |

Do you just go to the company website first and ask for samples? Will they give them? I'd MUCH rather try than buy and dislike
Thanks |

LJ74 -- you can request samples on the company websites, but even better, EDS gives you free samples with every purchase! If there's a special something you'd like to try, just write EDS a note with your purchase and they'll add it in your package. |

That cream has the function of soothing treatment through the review above, so I'll order a sample in the next purchase of EDS. |
