This has to be *THE* worst eye makeup remover I have tried so far! I saw it on sale a few months back and thought "oh, wouldn't that be great for travel!". No, no it wouldn't!!! In fact, it wouldn't be great for anything...

These pre-moistened eye makeup remover pads come in a pack of 30 in a resealable (in theory) plastic pouch, much like the face cleanser wipes but smaller (they're small ~2"x2" squares). From the moment I opened the packet, I could no longer reseal it properly. The liquid leaked out onto the outside of the pouch and hence the glue wouldn't hold anymore. So, there went the travel possibility. From then on, I wanted to make sure that they didn't dry out so I was storing the pouch open side down with something heavy on top to provide a good seal. Right now I'm looking at a packet of almost dry squares that do very little to remove any eye makeup. Even when the packet was brand new (and the squares were actually wet) I felt that the pads were a little too rough for the eye area and the eye makeup remover was not very effective at taking off my pretty light eye makeup.

I love the idea of eye makeup remover pads because I'm a little lazy when it comes to removing eye makeup separately before cleansing my face. I've in the past tried other (good) brands (e.g Andrea Qs) but felt they were a little too pricey for the quantity you got. The Swisspers cost me about $5 from what I recall - definitely not impressed though!!

Thanks Mabsy. I've used the Andrea Q's for years, they work very well.
I recently found a great deal on Evian Cleansing Water which makes a nice eye make up remover.

Also tired the Sephora brand eye make up remover which is pretty good.

I do like the pre moistened Eye Q's the best.

These remover pads sound so horrible Mabsy!! You certainly dont want any rough products for the eye area because the skin is soooo delicate, such a product will just ruin it and cause more harm than good!

I'm quite happy to note that I have not seen them in the shops for the last month or so. At least not in the supermarkets where they used to sell them. I can only hope that this means that they were discontinued Smile
