I am using Obagi C-rx claryfing serum , i am wondering if it is the vit C that causes the stinging sensation or something else in the serum?
BTW i used it post clarisonic and the stinging was much worse than just a hand wash. |

| Topical C can sting for some people, Malishka31. I think the C-RX is 10% serum. Try not to use it after the Clarisonic. You are exfoliating your skin and then putting an acid on it, so it will sting way more than if you just wash your face and then put the serum on! |

| Also, be sure to wait 15 minutes after cleansing, so your skin is thoroughly dry before applying. |

| Sometimes it really stings, it even causes several tiny bleeding points on my face, I don't know why,they just cured themselves on the morning of next day. |

| It depends. The pH, co-ingredients, base etc all will contribute. |
