I just used the Murad Hydrating Toner for the first time and my face felt very itchy. Am I allergic to the toner or something? Should I continue to use it?  |

No! Dont use it again, it obv didnt agree with yur skin, i would try something different.  |

| I agree, if I use a product that makes my skin itchy it raises a red flag. I would stop using it. |

| I would also suggest to stop using it, you probably have allergic reaction to one or more ingredients. Take some antihistamine to make sure your skin stop itching. |

I had sensitive skin and I used Essential C Toner from Murad. I tend to have mild sensitive reaction to most products - my face will naturally get red after washing and applying toner. This Murad toner is no exception to me - but I must admit that it gives a tingling feeling but it doesn't really make me itch. I also mix the toner with Dr. H's cleansing clay mask so it stays on my face for over 5 minutes at times, it gives me tingling sensations on my face, but afterwards my skin did become brighter.
Having said that, I'm used to accepting the fact that my face got red for couple minutes after applying anykind of skincare (or sometimes even slightly touching my face with finger/hair). But if it's your first time having this itchiness to skincare production and it also cause other reactions, you should consider returning it! |

| i guess there's an ingredient in it that your skin is allergic too. Do a patch test on your arms and u'll know if it's your face only or your skin. |

I find that the Murad step two products tend to make your face feel a bit tingley, it really freaked me out at first but the therapist said that it was supposed to happen. During professional facials, they have a scale to measure the sensation on your face one being none at all and ten being unbearable. Apparently when you get to seven they remove it immediately.
However, if your face is going red you might actually be having a reaction and I wouldn't risk it again. |
