NCNProSkincare.com has the best. They are thick waffled ones and they suck the junk right off your skin when used damp. I have used the same one for a year now, so the extra expense is worth it, IMO. |

I used the ones from PSF ordered from here EDS, two for $4. I like the size of it, small enough to dry fast yet big enough for washing face. |

why do you need a microfibre face cloth? isnt your usual cleanser enough to clean the face? arent we over cleaning the skin with additional cleansing tools and stripping the skin of its hydration? |

I think microfibre cloths are good precisely because they aren't stripping oil and moisture from the skin. They do a nice job of removing dead and flaky stuff without chemically stripping the skin. |

i have never used a microfibre cloth well at least i dont think so.........do you think theres any of chance of these cloths creating tiny tiny tiny marks on the facial skin from using it? |

Simran, I don't think there is much danger of their creating tiny marks on the skin. They are more gentle than many exfoliating scrubs used, in my experience, though you can irritate the skin if you scrub hard with them. Used gently, they exfoliate well. And, since they can be used over and over again, they are a lot cheaper than many of the exfoliating scrub products. Incidentally, I think I read that you shouldn't put them in the washing machine, especially if you use fabric softener, so I wash mine along with my lingerie. |

I had a Clarisonic but gave it away since it was so rough. I like the microfibre cloth much better since I can control the pressure of it. I can even use it on my eyelids very gently. In a pinch you can use it by itself with just plain warm water in the a.m.
Sometimes I cleanse first with Fancl oil if I have SS on, then gently go over my face with the damp cloth. |

I bought a few of the PSF cleansing cloths and really like them. I was a bit put off by the small size of them (my MIL was over once and thought they were cloths for the baby) but they do the job. They are soft and the price is right. So cheap that I think I bought 4 packs of 2 and try and wash them by hand, but most of the time I just throw them in with the regular laundry. They do lose some of their softness this way though. I use them lightly after scrubs, soap and masks, just to remove any remaining residue. |

Try oil of olay cleansing facial cloths, they are great. They get all the makeup off. |

Disposable cloths like Oil of Olay makes are not microfibre. They are a nice convenience, especially when traveling, but should not be confused with the kind of cloth we're talking about in this thread. |

I buy mine from the dollar store...they're $1, and are marketed to be used on computer monitors, etc. They also had some larger ones for drying your hair. I haven't compared with the more expensive ones mentioned above, but I'm happy with the cheapies! |

Like Pinkberry I think you should try those from PSF ( Pure Skin Formulation ). And you can get them right here on EDS.

Based on an EDS thread, I bought mine from yummysweetz on ebay. Not sure if she's still selling, but it was definitely worth the $5.00! And I agree that it is indeed gentle and does a great job at exfoliating. Love mine! |

Are the microfiber cloths for cars the same as the ones for facial skin?
I read over on MUA that they've been using microfiber cloths for cars on their faces with good results... |

There's been a lot of hype over having to buy certain cloths, the expensive ones being the best naturally, but my experience is the exact opposite. I bought a stack of the "good" ones online and a pack of the ones intended for household cleaning at Wal-Mart, and put them in my closet for face cleansing. I wash them separately on my washer's "sanitize" setting. 4 months later....I've relegated the good cloths to the kitchen drawer with the dish cloths and have kept on using the cheap ones, which are exactly the right size, either to be used as a face towel, or cut into quarters to wash my face. I absolutely love them, wouldn't want anything else. |

I also use the ones you can get in the auto dept. I bought mine at Target. I wash my face with Karen Herzog cleanser, and follow with the cloths. My breakouts from my rosacea are much better. Their cheap too. |

As silly as this sounds, perhaps you're rubbing a little too vigorously jandarling? I know people have talked about getting "rug burn" on their face when they overdo it with the microfiber cloth. My face gets a little red from the exfoliation (as it does with many masks/scrubs), but that fades within 10-15 minutes. How long is your skin staying red? It seems like it could be normal for it to be a little red if it doesn't last too long or isn't painful... Or maybe you could also simply use it less frequently? HTH! |

I just never tried a microfiber cloth. I guess I've just been really happy with my cleanser and I guess I just don't get it! |

It is a great, cheap fix to exfoliate the skin, especially helping with the flakes from Retin A use. |
