IS Clinical C+E Advance+ has both vitamin C and E and so does Skinmedica vitamin C complex. The IS Clinical product is watery in texture and the Skinmedica one is creamy in texture (silicone based but not pore clogging - the silicone formulation gives it a time release effect).

I have tried the Skinceuticals CE Ferrulic and Skinmedica products. I would say that their effects are similar. It's just that people have personal preference, some prefer the watery serum type like Skinceuticals and some prefer the cream type like the Skinmedica. Some people prefer Skinmedica because the Skinceuticals one tends to cause breakouts in acne-prone skin, due either to the Vitamin E or to the butylene glycol base of the serum. Some people object to applying silicones on their skin (which is an ingredient in the Skinmedica one).

I haven't tried the IS Clinical one.

La roche posay has some pretty good vitamin C serums. Be careful though the vitamin is in it's purest form so if you leave the lid on for awhile it will oxidize and turn a brownish orange color. So use before the expiry date.

I can highly recommend something EDS does carry that has about everything you could want in it, except parabens and silicones, that will detox, protect and firm your skin up. It is by NaturDerm and it is called Chrysalyx. It smells incredible, like lemon and ginger. My face, especially if I use Epidermx II first stays tight for days, is the best eye cream I have ever used, I can't say enough good things about it, just fabulous stuff!
