Yes, you read that right! An extraordinary thing has happened and I have no clue why. In the past ten years I have developed two small keratoses on my face. One (very small) is on my cheek, and the other (larger and more obvious) was directly above the bow of my lips in the philtrum area. Recently, the one over my lip turned a little darker and grew to perhaps twice the size but still looked like a small mole of perhaps 3mm in diameter (somewhat less than 1/4 inch). My DH commented on it one day. I had it checked out by a derm. to make sure it wasn't a "nasty."
Well, here's the good news: Something has made both keratoses shrink dramatically and they both look like they are about to disappear altogether. I have not intentionally been treating them.
I have had a different skincare routine for the past month or so and have used the Baby Quasar about three times a week for six or seven weeks. My skincare routine in the am includes Remergent DNA, followed by SkinActives Anti-aging cream, followed by sunscreen. In the pm it is Remergent DNA followed by SkinActives Let's Make Collagen serum and sometimes the SA cream over that. When I BQ, I use hyaluronic acid serum.
My best guess is that it's the Remergent, although I can't see why. I was becoming a little self-conscious over the lip keratosis, so I'm thrilled with this unexpected result. I don't think it would be either of the SA products as I have traditionally had someone make up a serum with 52% actives in it and used this for over two years.
I'm going to try the whole routine on a large keratosis on my tummy. (I thought this had disappeared after applying wart-treatment but it came right back.) |

Very interesting. I'm wondering whether there have been any changes in your diet, lifestyle, general health, etc. that might also account for the sudden shrinkage. |

No changes to my usual diet/lifestyle except less exercise over the festive period and a few more fattening goodies such as fruit cake. It's a puzzle to me. I thought I wouldn't post about it until I was sure about it. I started to notice the shrinkage last week. |

Interesting.
Waiting for your testing results on your tummy.
Wish you good luck! |
