I was about to run out of my favorite Remergent DNA repair and decided to go to Ebay to just look. There is a seller there that claims the company that makes Remergent-AGI Dermatics was sold to another company and hence Remergent products were no longer made after December 2008.

Anyone know anything about this. I did try to go to their website and it does not exist anymore. I am so sad.

I have thinking of trying OBAGI in place of it.

Thanks for your help. I am new here and this is my first post. Look forward to posting here often.

I believe it's been sold to Estee Lauder. Some websites are still selling off existing stocks of Remergent. ZO Skin Health is using the same technology in some of their products. You can refer to the last few pages of the ZO Skinhealth thread.

Yes, they are literally "swallowing" up the competition. ZO Skinhealth is a worthy replacement.

As far as I know, the product with "remergent" technology in the ZO line is the Daily Power Defense. I think it is much more elegant than the Remergent DNA, myself. It is lighter and sinks in immediately. I didn't get that feel with the Remergent DNA, which I felt just sat on top of my skin.

Plus it has a lot more additional actives than Remergent (retinol, peptides, antioxidants, etc.). However, it is more expensive. (thank goodness for EDS!)
