| I read the book by Madonna's brother recently (not as much of an expose as the publicity says, actually pretty boring). In it he mentions a face powder she used all the time. He called it Puerto Rican Majal Pink face powder and said he was always being sent to a little drugstore on 15th St in NYC to pick it up for her. Anyone ever heard of or used this? |

Never. Do a search on google and see what comes up.
As for her powder, I'm sure Madonna has moved on from when she used to send her brother down to that shop to pick it up. |

Maybe this powder was sold at a Mexican grocery store & drug store. My good friend is Puerto Rican and I know for a fact that there are different lines of cosmetics in Mexican/Latin grocery stores. She lives in the Bronx.
I often wonder what kind of makeup some celebs use...as if there is some kind of secret cosmetics company that only caters to celebrities or something..haha. I'm sure some buy their cosmetics at Barney's. |
