Does this look promising? Seems like a convenient way to apply moisturizer on the body anyway....but the lime oil bothers me - isn't it a sun-sensitizer? I thought that like bergamot, it can cause darkening and damage of the skin.
What does EDS think? |

Several ingredients bother me in this....
-the silicone base but thats just me, many can use silicone without issues
-Shea Butter, the would cause a breakout for me
-grape seed, its not hydrating at all and can be quite drying
- lime, I just dont think its necessary and could be an irritant |

This product is using Dimethicone and Shea Butter to build the moisture barrier properties that they are touting. However, this isn't an optimum moisture barrier, and many people don't like silicones in heavy load levels (like this product).
A far superior and extremely skin friendly moisture barrier is any product with jojoba esters. Jojoba Esters is a better moisture barrier material (occlusive) then even the industry standard of petrolatum. And it is the only source of botanical wax esters which are similar to the wax esters in your skin's own natural sebum.

Really? Grape seed is anti-aging, right? and Shea Butter is good for replenishing water? Now I really have some confusion~ |

If you have normal skin this would probably be fine. |

Looks as if EDS is in the process of adding Aqualant and Green Cream to the store... |

Just a note since it appears to be used at night I don't think the lime extract would be an issue. I also have normal skin and don't find grape seed oil drying at all, with the addition of olive and other oils it would be moisturizing enough for most. The only issue is the silicons for those who choose to avoid their use.
