Interesting. I thought Botox was a muscle relaxer. Makes me wonder how Botox would fill be able to correct pock marks or depressions in the skin. I thought "Fillers" like restalyne, etc. do that.

it relaxes the small muscle around the pore making the pore seem smaller.Looks like it makes a huge difference! I know botox is also used to change the shape of asians faces....the square jaw when botox is injected, relaxes the muscles and make the face look oval. Its also used to make the calf muscles look smaller.

it only lasts as long as botox for wrinkles, so 4 months, maybe 6 at the most Sad

Whenever I get Botox I notice an improvement in the look of my forehead skin. I have sebacious hyperplacia (little under the skin bumps) and some small pock marks from where I've picked at them in the past as well as general large pores. Botox definitely refines the skin as well as ironing out the wrinkles. Have never heard of this process of having it injected into the cheeks though - interesting!

Botox made my forehead skin look more refined too. But I really think it's a road to nowhere as a product.

Endless expensive injections of a toxin.. just doesnt seem very good, ultimately.

Something better than botox is the Epidermx II and Chrysalyx, greatnewskin has some unbelievable photos on scars and stretch marks. Plus you get great skin care at the same time! It keeps my pores fine and tight and it use to be a problem for me.

if one is to use botox, will have to constantly go back for follow up i guess. If you stop, your skin will look worst..

Wow! Those are amazing results! I have always thought that people who use Botox have beautiful skin texture.

I get botox injections in my forehead every 4 months or so. I think getting injections in my cheeks would hurt too much. Botox is expensive, and I bet they need to use alot in the cheeks.

it's amazing, but once one starts on botox, does it means we have to regularly go back for follow up?

Smile Pellie I had the same results with my large pores and scars! Nothing has worked like the Epidermx II and Chrysalyx. I have been reading the posts on botox and recently added the NaturDerm Naturdermx as it is a paraben free and silicone free non botox. I love that it has grapeseed and sunflower. They use the pure AH 3 instead of the Argireline, so there are no parabens. Argireline has parabens. I just love these products! EDS sells them and I love greanewskin, wonderful people!

Sylvitay I agree! There are some amazing pictures here http://www.greatnewskin.com/pages/products/stretchmarkbuster.html and some non botox photos from the NaturDerm Naturdermx http://www.greatnewskin.com/pages/products/Trans-sys.html When I first started to use it I wondered if it would impact scars, it seems to flatten things out. EDS has them. Wonderful products!

shouldn't be the opposite? I always thought that the skin in cheeks is thicker than the forehead
