I don't think you should use L&R before consult a doctor. Find out the reason and type of acnes. Whether your acnes are caused by hormone, gene, or incorrected cleanser or makeup and so on. I have fought with the acnes for last ten years. And acnes left many holes on my right side of face. I had fraxel treatments last year. Those acne scars are improved, not siginificant but ok. I was suggested to use Obagi clenziderm after more acnes came out from laser treatment. It not helped that much, but since I started using Obagi Nu-derm, the acnes are completely in control. I hope you can find a right product soon but not irritate you skin, otherwise, it may cause acne infected. |

I had no idea you dermarolled!! Is it awesome? I know you were concerned about your little cheek marks. Do you think it made a big difference. I've got some funky spots around my mouth from where I picked at blind pimples, I'd like to improve the area but I'm a little afriad. I think I'd best start with the Clarisonic and move on from there. You're pretty young like me, maybe it's good to do this young so we can produce a healthy amount of collagen??
I'm kind of scared to go at my face with needles though (even if they are tiny). Do you bleed? |

I'm a little confused. Are we talking about acne scarring or active acne? I'm not sure that dermarolling would do anything for active acne and it seems to me that it could and would spread bacteria and make it worse. |
