| I noticed there is a distinction between the 2 on this website. I thought they were the same at first. So which is better? Natural or organic? Which of the 2 benefits us better? Which of the 2 has the least irritants in products? Which of the 2 suit sensitive skin best? Let's discuss! |

Think of organic as a subset of natural. All organic products will be natural (not made of man-made concocted chemicals) but will also be made from things raised without artificial pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers.
If you have sensitive skin, you can't count on organic or natural products to be better for you necessarily. In fact, many contain essential oils that can be a problem for sensitive skin. Whatever products you try, natural, organic, or otherwise, you should do a little patch test on an inconspicuous bit of skin first to test for a bad reaction. |

hi flitcraft
thanks very much for your advise. esp the distinction between organic and natural. so just to reiterate so i can get it right, Organic products are sort of better in quality than natural since organic is a subset of natural?
i'm using Dr H and its been good so far but have just purchased PSF (not got it yet) and hoping its organic quality will be even better.
i prefer such natural products compared to man made/chemical types like Khiel's. |

| you still have to be careful with both of these types of products..........as for marketing they can use these words on the products i.e "natural" or "organic" due to ONE ingrediant falling into that category........but you may find that the rest of the ingrediants are not. SO read and buy with caution these so called natural and organic products if your quite picky on using those only |

thanks for the tip. Yeah I do agree that's how sneaky some companies are when it comes to using the right words to sell. I'll just have to do my research and buy after testing and see if i have a good gut feeling about it. hahaha |

Very good point simran! I'm big on organic soap and shampoo. It has really helped improve my skin along with my treatment regimen. Check out this website for some useful info on your question.

| Organic food tends to be of stronger taste than the others. Thus organic skin care products tends to be more effective if properly used. |

| I think organic products don't use preservatives so be careful about freshness. Both when you buy and also how long you keep a product at home. |

| I think that some companies and such with food and all have gotten carried away with the "term" organic. Someone earlier mentioned it, just b/c it's labeled organic doesn't mean all the ingredients are organic. Read the ingredients. |

| Each coin has two sides. Organic brands, undoubtedly, are more safe for usage, but I think they may have slower and invisible impact on our skin or body. So I prefer natural brands |

| for me, i prefer organic than natural. natural just means non chemical. i once tried an organic cucumber exfoliator and it works so much more wonderfully than the natural one i was using b4. |
