Hi all,
Havent posted in awhile but FYI for those with problems using minerals I have experimented with some brands and got good success. Firstly, if you dont have a problem with mica, look for formulas with it as the first ingredient instead of TD. Its less drying. Also minerals with vitamin e or squalane will add a bit of moisture to the skin. I have been cheap and lazy and have been using Clinique DDL sample underneath and it works great with the minerals.
Brands to try:
Joppa Simple Radiance-gives a slight glow and medium full coverage.
Mineral Boutique with vitamin e-I prefer the Perfect it with vitamin e as it is medium full coverage matte finish.
Lumiere-has several brands that could work for dry skin. I have the Flawless Foundation. Its full coverage with a soft matte finish.
Blusche-Sheer Satin has a glowy finish that is light coverage.
I also find using the brushes are very irritating and causes more flakes. I use Shiseido sponge or a flocked sponge for lighter coverage and they work great. |
