Hey Girls - the c serum with the viteral A base is so easy to make - (really, really) and nice. I've made it and given it to friends. they think I'm a genius |

Kassy,
i read as much as i could re: your wonderful vit C serum. thank you for sharing it.
1 quick question - does it make sense to use both ferulic acid AND viterol a?
thanks |

Since I posted that recipe we've had quite a little trouble with the Viterol A. It seems there are 4 different versions of Viterol A Face, and the ingredients are different for all..
To be on the safe side, and not worry about it, just replace the 2 tsp volume with.
1 tsp SKB
1 tsp Glycerin
1/4 tsp Ferulic Acid
It's a kick arse serum if I do say so myself, even without the 'A'... |

Do you use this serum both morning and night? Is it after cleansing? |

Hey Kassy - Do you think this will be as good as the Viteral A combo? Actually next go-round I'm going to make your face cream (just gotta figure out where the newest/best is).
Quite a disappointment about the Viteral A. I ordered one more tube and hoping it's the one I have already so I can get one more batch before I move on.
Thanks for always thinking of us.
Love - Sis |

Trust me Sis, we can live without the Viterol A..
I just came up with a new C serum, that I've been using a few days, and it's very nice.. I'll post it on the other thread in a while.
ETA: The main reason I incorporated the Viterol A into the C serum was because it contained vitamin A + Ferulic Acid.. Several members that wanted to try DIY asked me for as simple as possible, and I also wanted to add vitamin A to the mix... So now, it's on to a sure thing, instead of the mystery that surrounds the V-A... |
