I have been using this gel for more than 1 month. I apply it 2 a day, all over the face, and also as topical spot treatment.
The gel feels quite sticky when you first touch it, but is absorbed very quickly.
Although it contains around 10% of alpha hydroxy acid that is suspended in purified algae extract, vitamins A, E and C, plus mucopolysaccharides (which i am not very sure what it is, but should be some kind of moisturising agent).
The gel doesn't dry skin out, like most alpha hydroxy or beta hydroxy products(if applied thinly, and evenly). But one must be careful not to apply too thick a layer, otherwise you can see the skin around it started peeling the next morning when you wake up.
My skin is oily combination with the tendency to breakout, hence I find the gel moisturising enough to be used alone, at night. Some nights, when I over-apply, I add SK-II facial treatment essence, and all the tightness is gone.
In the morning , i Used it underneath Babor PURE range day cream, and a sunscreen.
I really like this invigorating gel, I find that I break out much less often after using this gel. |
