Dermalogica's Skin Resurfacing cleanser
This product doesn't smell too nice, but is quite highly effective.
Just like the packaging says,it is a dual-action exfoliating cleanser,
it contains a highly active lactic acid concentrate that retexturises skin suffering from visible signs of aging by removing dulling surface debris and accelerating cell renewal.
Secondly, its vitamin E enhances softness while fortifying the skin's natural moisture barrier, while soothing rose flower oil calms skin sensitivity.
I have an oily combination skin, and have been using this cleanser for more than 1 month. I can feel that my skin feels much softer, and more refined, and my skin breaks out less often too. I feel that moisturiser and make up glide easily and also more easily absorbed.
I use Ole henriksen invigorating night gel at night, which also contains highly active alpha glycolic acid. Even using the combination of these 2 products, my skin doesn't really dry out, only occassionally when I accidentally apply too much products on my skin. |

I actually kind-of like the smell of this cleanser. One thing I would recommend (as with any cleanser with acids) is to put it on your skin dry and massage it in a bit for a minute or so before adding water. I think it makes the lactic acid in this work better (doesn't dilute it). My skin always feels supple and soft after using this - not at all tight and dry like some cleansers.
BTW - havana8, yes this is a pump bottle. |

I always used Dermalogica's special cleansing gel from 2 years ago. It's very very nice. After reading your article, I want to try the product you recommand, but it's more expensive than special cleaning gel... |
