I am not sure if it's a build up or the weather or whatever the case may be but I have dry scalp and it's embarassing when I am wearing dark clothes.
Could it be my hair products? My hair dye? The Weather?
It's flaky and I can pick it off in little bumps....sounds gross but what can I do? |

I think you should consider going to your doctor, it may not just be dry scalp.
I have a flaky scalp, so i mix olive and emu oil and massage it into my scalp then sit in the sauna for 20 mins with shower cap on that always helps.
Also kerastase shampoo for sensitive scalps is very good, as perfumed cheaper ones can make he problem worse. |

I had a lot of scalp problems last year. Itchy, dry, and almost like little scabs on my scalp. The only thing that helped was Scalpicin (sp?). Now, I use coconut oil, slather it all over hair and scalp and I have not had any problems at all with my scalp since doing that. I do agree with Angelboots about seeing a doc to make sure what it is you have, as well. |

My scalp gets pretty dry especially in the winter. I use head and shoulders and I found it very moisturizing. |
