Dermalogica's Multivitamin Power Firm for Eyes and Lips
I got a sample of this product when purchasing some other products from EDS. Luckily, and coincidentally, my cousing also gave me a tube of Multivitamin Power Firm, as she said the product doesn't suit her well.
I really like using this gel, it glides very smoothly, leaving a filmy layer on the skin around the eyes. Some people may not like the texture, but I absolutely love it.
THe texture of this product is very similar to the Dermalogica's waterless moisturiser, the Barrier Repair. I guess it is because both contains organic silicones, which lends its filmy texture.
I have an oily combination skin, which is prone to breakouts. Hence, for years, I have been using lots of relatively "strong" products, containing AHA, BHA, vitamin A, so on and so forth. So, my skin has gradually become sensitised as well.
My skin tolerate well the Dermalogica's Dermal Clay, Special Cleansing Gel, Anti bac wash, even the Ultra Calming Cleanser.
I used to use Barrier Repair 3 times a week, as well as Multivitamin Power Recovery Mask, however these products prove to be too "oily" for my skin. Before even finishing a tube, I have started developed acnes and other congestions.
However, I can never forget the texture and feel of Barrier Repair, which I absolutely love.
Thus, I really love this eye cream-gel. It smoothens, and plumps up areas around my eye.
I was worried that I may develop milias/ white heads around my eye, which can happen if i use unsuitable eye cream. But, fortunately, this hasn't proven to be a problem after using this product for more than 1 month. |

Great. I just got a sample of this and I was wondering if I should give it away. I'm concerned with milia so it's nice to hear that so far is was not a problem for you. |

I used this once a long time ago and never really got attached to it. I generally don't like silicone bases, so it felt really oily on my eyes. Ended up finishing off the tube as a lip balm. |

I personally don't like it as I think it does not moisturise well but I heard that it is good in firming. |

I think I tried Dermalogica's Multivitamin Power Firm for Eyes and Lips a few years ago. I like its multivitamin eye cream. It was good, but I don't know why Dermalogica for me is a "so so" product line so that I changed to many others brand. |
