Hi!
My hair is as rough as straw and I have no idea what to do!
A couple months ago my hair dresser sold me a Japanese 'protein treatment' that she said is very good used as a daily conditioner. Shortly afterwards I started losing more hair than usual, and it was getting more and more dry (I thought it was because of decreasing humidity in winter..) Anyways, the other day I came across a thread on MUA that said too much protein can dry hair out, which totally explains my situation as I'm already well into my second 1 litre bottle!
Can anyone please recommend a good silicone-free hydrating conditioner I can use to repair my damaged hair? My hair is fine and limp, so I can't tolerate anything too heavy; I'm also rather lazy, so I don't like doing hair masks or treatments-- daily conditioners are easiest for me. I'm located in Asia and I don't have access to many of the more niche drugstore brands in the US or Australia. Thanks in advance! |

Terex Crema is great, its super moisturizing. I have fine hair and use this every other shampoo with out any problems.
On the other days I use TIGI Moisture Maniac. |

I'm having good luck with Jojoba oil. I've been rubbing into scalp and hair and sleeping in it. It seems to be really helping my dry scalp and hair. I try to do this at least once a week. |

I also wanted to add that I mix coconut & palm oil to use a pre-shampoo deep conditioner. I just mix it in my hands and saturate my hair but not so much that it drips. I leave it on about 30 minutes then shampoo. I do this every 1-2 weeks. |

Thanks for the tips! But are those oils hard to wash out afterwards? I once tried olive oil and my hair was so sticky I had to resort to using Dawn detergent! |
