Hi all!
My insurance has been changed so I can't use my beloved tazorac which I have been using for 3.5 yrs. Is there an over the counter retinol product that any of you would recommend as being a good product? Is there one that doesn't have a whole lot of peeling? I got the best of both worlds with the tazorac...collagen production with no peeling. Uggghh... |

You can buy generic Tazorac cream fromwww.alldaychemist.com for a couple of $ per tube. Shipping is a bit expensive, so it's a good idea to stock up when you are placing an order.
Quite a few EDS members buy generic vitamin A creams from online pharmacies for a fraction of the cost. You won't even need a prescription.
There are several threads on this forum about the generic brands and ordering from online pharmacies.

Thanks September girl and [b]lilredhead[/b.
Septembergirl, I did a search on retina A to find some pharmacies that I could purchase from. I found many threads but no links. Is there a particular pharmacy you use? Thanks. |

Not Septembergirl, but I use 4 corners pharmacy. I think they're located in the south pacific. I've always had good service...receiving my products 10 days from date of purchase each time I've ordered. I used to use medsmex but heard of many whose credit card was compromised and did not want to take the chance. I highly recommend 4 corners - they're not as cheap as medsmex, but still much cheaper than here in the states, and the more tubes you buy, the cheaper. Also, shipping is included in the price. Here's the link: http://www.4cnrs-skincare.com/retin-a.html |

skincarefreak, I provided a link towww.alldaychemist.com in my previous post. A lot of people here order from them. Here is the actual product, Tazret gel (0.5 %, 15 gms, $3.54 or 1.0 %, 15 gms, $4.16)

Thanks fab 50! I'll take a look at the site!
Thank you Septembergirl! I thought you may have used the retina A...that was why I was asking. I thought it may have been from a different site. |

OK, I see.
I have ordered Retin-A from alldaychemist in the past. Their prices are unbeatable, and many of the generic vitamin A creams are made by Johnson & Johnson in India, so the quality should be good. Delivery time was about four weeks to Europe.
The only problem is that their clients get bombarded with spam emails after ordering from them. Therefore, it's wise to create a new email address to use exclusively when placing an order with them. |
