I got an email newsletter from a doctor's web site today which had a topic on a new lash growth product. Has anyone tried Latisse before and what are the results? Is this just another variation of Jan Marini Age Intervention Lash or Revitalash?

Beautiful Eyes, What a Surprise!
Dr. XX is pleased to announce that LatisseTM is now available at his cosmetic surgery office. Latisse, the first and only FDA-approved prescription treatment for eyelash growth, is an exciting treatment for women who desire prominent eyelashes. In the blink of an eye, you can have eyelashes that are longer, thicker, and darker.

So it does appear to have the same active ingredient as the old Jan Marini Lash Intervention that everyone was raving about before they changed their formula.
Other than Lily53, has anyone else tried Latisse?
Lily53, how are you liking Latisse? Is there any side effect mentioned regarding the discoloration of eyelids? |

| Just saw an page on my OK magazine and did a quick search on it. They say its the first FDA approved eyelash treatment. I so want to try this, but for crying out loud is it expensive. I checked the site and it doesn't give a price, but in the magazine it states that it's about $120/30 days. So each month one needs to drop that much and also consult a physician before doing so? The trials on their site is for 16 weeks, which means that's quite a hefty bill! |

In this economy, $120 every 30 days seems like a lot. It better grows so much lash! |

| I too have been researching lattise. It is based on some eye drops used to treat glaucoma called lumigan. I have just ordered these from alldaychemist online and they cost $12 a bottle, which is a lot better than the $120 that some places are charging! All day chemist has had some good reviews on the internet. The only downside is the cost of delivery ($24), so it might be worth buying a few bottles. |

That is a huge saving if it works the same way. Would you please keep us posted on the results? Why is the delivery cost so high? Are they in the US? |

I used Lumigan from All Day Chemist ( I bought 3 bottles for $12 each). It's almost 2 months, I still have tons left in the first bottle. I think it will go for at least the entire year.
I also bought Peter Thomas Roth "lashes to die for" before Lumigan(it has the same ingredients). So now I use the brush from this PTR bottle for my lumigan. The brush is so fine, it gives precise application and only needs 2 tiny drops from the lumigan bottle.
In the last few days, I noticed my lashes have started to grow looooong... way impressive! |

I also ordered from alldaychemist.com for myself and about 5 friends as well. For application convenience I purchased eyeliner containers from makingcosmetics.com.
The Latisse website recommends using one applicator per treatment and not re-dipping in solution so next time I'll only fill the container with about a weeks supply and will weekly sanitize and refill the container. Though I am very diligent about cleaning my eyelashes prior to application I guess we all have bacteria and I've noticed tiny floaties in my solution which is why Ill manage it differently next time.
I've used Lumigan for about 6 weeks and already notice a measurable increase in the length of my lashes. Very satisfied with the results There is also a Lumigan forum over at http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewtopic.php?tid=31135. |

| Thanks ladies for sharing your results from lumigan which is a much better deal. Also thanks for the link to the lumigan thread. There is some good information there, too. |
