I'v shopped at TJ Maxx for years, but never really looked at the beauty dept. I know it's hit or miss, but are there any brands I should really give a try? |

I found a set of Sovage lip plumpers there that I really liked, but it's been awhile. I've shopped at their stores in several different states and each location seems to differ from the next on what they have to offer. Also (not cosmetics) they usually have good buys on those herbal bags you either stick in the microwave or freezer - to soothe sore muscles, eyes, etc. |

My best beauty find was an Anastasia brow kit - complete with stencils for brow filling.
The other thing I would recommend is the soaps -I have found lovely bath soaps to keep on hand for guests, etc. Also liquid hand soap - some very sophisticated scents and attractive bottles.
They sometimes have good hair care products. And I've also found nail treatments that were good. You've got to just get there and always have a look and keep an open mind. |
